  • The mission of this project is to reforest in a way that is beneficial to people as well as working to create a functioning and self-regenerating ecosystem.
  • The project began in 2008 as a partnership between the Plant a tree today (PATT) Foundation, Forest Restoration Research Unit (FORRU - CMU), and World Conservation Union (IUCN)
  • Community nurseries have been established to propagate seedlings.
  • Approximately 48,000 trees have been planted with framework species through the help from community groups.
