Description

  • Status: In Planning State
  • The purpose of this project is to help local community members learn techniques for supporting re-growth of natural forests on formerly forested land.
  • The project aims to support re-forestation of currently degraded lands to serve as forested "buffer" for protected interior forest lands, as well as support sustainable, forest-friendly community jobs.
  • The project is scheduled to begin in 2011, species have not yet been selected, but native species are a priority.
