Description

  • This documenet contains the text of the Philppine Forest Act (“to regulate the use of the public forests and forest reserves in the Philippine Islands”), including regulations, licenses, taxes, harvest limits, violations, and prohibition of caiñgin (swidden plots).  Also includes extracts of other relevant laws. 
  • The Foerst Act legally establishes forest regulations: licenses, timber volume, cutting, collecting, and removing of forest products.
  • Notes in the back of the book group native trees into four groups and lists native tree species (including common name) and important Philippine woods.
