Description

  • The mission of this project is to reforest former fallow land in Vietnam by planting mostly native species in order to create a species-rich mixed forest for biodiversity conservation as well as climate mitigation through carbon storage.
  • In 2009, trees were planted on 1,500 ha of land.
  • The trees will not undergo commercial forestry or thinning.
  • The project is attempting to get CarbonFIX certification by 2012.
